Longcell was stablished in June 2020 with a registered capital of RMB 108 million. Zhejiang Huafeng Longcell Fiber Technology Co. Ltd invested a fund of RMB 1.2 billion to construct a production line of Lyocell filaments with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons.

Situated in Anji, Zhejiang Province with a beautiful environment and the hinterland of the Yangtze River Economic Zone. It has a total area of 120,000 m2 and a ground coverage area of 70,000 m2.

“Longcell” has inherited the fruit borne from ten years of technological efforts. Dedicated by its own independent R & D entity “Nufiber Tech” and possessed more than 30 exclusive patents. The company will commit itself to manufacturing and sales & promotion of longcell filament fibers as well as subsequent customer services in efforts to meet the strong demands for high-end fabrics of global leading consumers who advocate environmental protection.  

Brand Story

“Longcell”, the first Chinese lyocell filament brand, made its global debut in the Yarn Expo Autumn 2017. This milestone spawned instant high attention across the textile industry and marked the launch of the first Chinese brand for lyocell filaments. It was achieved by the R & D team “Nufiber Tech” established in 2010. It has enabled independent design and development of manufacturing processes and equipment. An unprecedented breakthrough in the domestic industry by overcoming technological issues and barriers through ten years of unremitting and persistent efforts. With the above story behind its birth, “Longcell” was destined to be exceptional.

As an emerging fiber in the market, “Longcell” has many opportunities but also faces severe challenges. Impeccable quality is critical and essential and the prerequisites for its sustainable development. To this end, since the debut of “Longcell”, its R & D team has dedicated sustained efforts to improving product quality, completing three product updates. The brand has also established partnerships with downstream entities in development. Thus, the active engagement of multiple parties led to increasing maturity for “Longcell” applied technologies, laying a solid foundation for subsequent marketing efforts.
2020 was a year of drastic changes. Facing the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, the textile industry dedicated utmost efforts to resisting its tremendous impact and safeguarded the supply of key anti-pandemic materials. It steadily rebooted operation and catered to the national needs for pandemic control, as well as economic and social development based on its strong industry and supply chains. This year plagued by the COVID-19 pandemic was also the tenth year since the foundation of “Longcell”, which would start a new chapter and new breakthroughs.
